Lapis Kopi Kukus Cake is a layered cake with a perfect blend of three flavours (coffee, vanilla, and mocha). Now PONDAN presents Lapis Kopi Kukus Cake Mix that takes you only 6 easy steps to make this delicious cake.
Ingredients :
- Wheat flour
- Corn starch
- Sugar
- Skimm milk powder
- Emulsifier (E 471, E 472, E 477)
- Baking powder
- Coffee flavour
- Vanilla flavour
- Mocha flavour
- Food coloring Sunset Yellow FCF (E 110),
Carmoisine (E 122), Brilliant Blue (E 133).
Tips :
To make this cake into 6 layers, please follow the cooking direction, but notice that you will pour only half of the batter at a time and each layer will take only 5 minutes steaming. Start with half of the mocha mixture, followed by half of the vanilla mixture, and end with half of the coffee mixture. Repeat these steps with the remaining mixture and you will have an attractive 6 layered cake.
How to make :

Before you start, BOIL the steamer with maximum heat.
DILUTE instant coffee (included in this package) with 2 tablespoons of hot water.

BEAT 3 eggs at high speed for ± 2 minutes until foamy, ADD Mocha Layer Cake Mix and continue mixing for ± 4 minutes until the mixture is smooth and thick. Repeat this step for Vanilla and Coffee Layer Cake Mix.

ADD 50 g melted margarine and 3 tablespoons instant coconut milk into the mocha mixture, mix well, and then pour it into greased 20×20 cm baking pan. Steam on maximum heat for ± 10 minutes.

ADD 50 g melted margarine and 3 tablespoons instant coconut milk into the vanilla mixture, mix well, and then pour on the first layer (mocha layer). Steam for ± 10 minutes.

ADD 50 g melted margarine, 3 tablespoons instant coconut milk, and coffee solutions into the coffee mixture, mix well, and then pour on the vanilla layer cake. Steam for ± 15 minutes until done.

Your Lapis Kopi Kukus Cake is done when a toothpick inserted in the centre of the cake comes out clean. Cut your cake into desired portions, and enjoy it!
