Ingredients :
- Wheat flour
- Sugar
- Skim milk powder
- Corn starch
- Baking powder
- Cocoa powder
- Emulsifier (E471, E472b, E477)
- Chocolate flavour
- Food colour : Brilliant Blue (E133),
Sunset Yellow FCF (E110),
Carmoisine (E122)
You will need :
- 10 egg (6 whole wggs & 4 egg yolks)
- 150 g margarine melted
- 100 g butter melted
How to Make :
- Heat oven to 200°C.
- Beat eggs at high speed for ± 4 minutes until foamy.
- Add PONDAN Black Forest Cake Mix then beat again at hight speed for 6-7 minutes until the batter is smooth & thick.
- Add chocolate paste (found inside this box) as well as melted margarine and butter then stir well until even. Divide batter into 3 portions.
- Prepare 3 Pans (22x22cm),cover the bottom with baking paper and grease sides of pan with margarine. Pour each portion into its pan.
Bake for 20 minutes on medium heat (200°C) till done.
- Let Let it cool for a while, then peel off the skin of cake. Spread on top with PONDAN Whip Cream or your favourite butter cream/ jam, and then put them together in layers. Enjoy your Black Forest Cake!
TIPS:
Baking is done when toothpick inserted in center of cake comes out clean.
